Big Hill Work Evening November 4

The DeForest Area School District’s Big Hill Committee is sponsoring another work evening on Thursday, November 4, 4:00-5:00 pm.

This work night will involve clipping and bagging seeds from the prairie.  The seeds will be stored for planting after the burn.  Volunteers will also replace five bluebird houses.  Come check out the contents of the old houses!

All community members are invited to join in the fun improving the health of this school environmental area.  This is a perfect public service project!

Volunteers are asked to wear work gloves, boots or old tennis shoes, and long pants. If you have gloves or clippers, please bring them! Tools will be available.

Directions to the Big Hill Environmental Center:

Take Highway 51 south toward Madison.  Exit Highway 19 toward Sun Prairie and continue until you see the Big Hill on your left.  Enter the business and park in the rear lot.  The address is 3950 Highway
