Book Madness comes to DeForest

The Madison CW television station is sponsoring a “Book Madness” book drive for Madison area schools, March 1-31.  Our school district is participating with the understanding that books will go toward (1) enhancing our K-8 classroom libraries, and (2) the school district’s 4th of July celebration “Literacy Tent” (at Fireman’s Park).

Anyone in the community can donate gently used or new books (or funds to purchase books).  The main drop-off location is just inside the lower entrance of the Holum Education Center at 520 E. Holum Street.  However, if you are interested in donating books or funds, you may also drop them off at any of our elementary schools or the middle school (look for the “Book Madness” bin or give to the office secretary).

More information is available at the Madison CW website.
