Parents, do you need time to finish holiday errands? Are you looking for a safe, fun place for your children while you work on holiday-related tasks? The high school National Honor Society (NHS) members are hosting Parents’ Morning Out at DeForest Area High School on Saturday, December 10, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. This event is open to school-aged children, ages three to eleven. (Please note: We will not be equipped to change diapers.) During that time, the school will be staffed with NHS volunteers to supervise your children while you use the time to check items off your holiday to-do list. There will be plenty of games, crafts, and other activities to keep your children engaged and entertained. Advanced registration is required. To register your children for this event, call Racquel Drunasky at 842-6775. Registration will be capped at 40 children.
Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the main entrance of the high school on Jefferson Street, and each child is asked to bring a sack lunch.
