The Cat’s Pajamas

image2The Cat’s Pajamas will be performing at DeForest Area High School on Thursday, February 14 at  7pm as part of their sixth annual Music in Schools Tour.

This annual tour brings choral clinics, school assemblies, and evening concerts to communities across the nation to raise money for music education programs. In past years The Cat’s Pajamas have raised over $50,000 for music programs and 2013 is set to be the biggest tour to date benefiting 20 Wisconsin communities! The Cat’s Pajamas goal is to inspire students, generate increased interest in music, and encourage all youths and teens to get involved in the arts and continue their involvement throughout life by working with them during the day and then presenting a world-class show open to the entire community in the evening. Two members of The Cat’s Pajamas are music educators certified in Choral and General Music who conduct in school workshops to educate students on vocal music, singing techniques, and life as a professional musician. The evening performance will bring the community together with a portion of profits going directly to the DeForest Area High School music program.

The Cat’s Pajamas recently received national acclaim on NBC’s hit show The Sing Off: Season. However, the group spends the majority of each year performing full time in Branson, Missouri at The Andy Williams Moon River Theatre.

The Cat’s Pajamas perform pop classics ranging from the 50s and 60s all the way up to today in their innovative a cappella style.  To learn more, visit and see what audiences from around the world are saying about The Cat’s Pajamas.
