Over 90 high school seniors and their parents attended College Goal Wisconsin  at DeForest Area High School on Sunday, February 23.  DAHS was one of three sites in the Madison area to host College Goal Wisconsin, which is a national event that provides free information and assistance to families who are filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  The FAFSA is the federally required form for students seeking financial aid, such and grants and loans.

This free statewide event is sponsored by the Wisconsin Association for Student Financial Aid Administrators, and organized in DeForest by the DeForest Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee and office of School/Community Relations.

School/Community Relations Coordinator Debbie Brewster thanked the volunteers who helped throughout the afternoon:  Dave Norby, Bob Kaufman, Sherry Peplinski, Ben Dobner, Julia Nieman, Brandon Clarke, Matt Kimmes, Liz Kimmes, Max Sesing, Alisha Dean, Judi Walsh, and Kim Bannigan.
