Big Hill Work Night

The DeForest Area School District’s Big Hill Committee is sponsoring another work evening on Tuesday, April 22, 3:30-5:00 pm.

On this work night volunteers will be clearing the trails, cleaning the tracking boxes, clearing around the shelter and dragging brush from the north side of the Hill.

All community members are invited to join in the fun improving the health of this school environmental area.  This is a perfect public service project!

Volunteers are asked to wear work gloves, boots or old tennis shoes, and long pants. If you have gloves or clippers, please bring them! Tools will be available.

Then, enjoy Pat Feldman’s famous barbecue sandwiches!  Barbecue sandwiches, chips, cookies and beverages will be provided after the work night!

Directions to the Big Hill Environmental Center:

Take Highway 51 south toward Madison.  Exit Highway 19 toward Sun Prairie and continue until you see the Big Hill on your left.  Enter the business and park in the rear lot.  The address is 3950 Highway 19.

If you have any questions, please contact Barb Bauer at 635-2265.
