Breakfast brightens January doldrums

Mild temperatures and a hearty breakfast greeted over 65 older adults at the annual LINK-ages-sponsored activity held at the DeForest Community/Senior Center on Saturday, January 17. LINK-ages breakfast 2015

Nearly 20 high school National Honor Society students and eight LINK-ages volunteers served guests, who enjoyed vocal music performances by high school seniors Haven Olson and Sarah Wanek.

Lingering over coffee and second helpings, many expressed their pleasure in getting together for this annual event.  LINK-ages, a community/school service organization which promotes and recognizes intergenerational activities in the area, now is planning the annual Bingo party for March 8 at 1:00 pm.
