The Writers Anthology Project is a writing and cartooning contest for students in grades 5-8, sponsored by the Greater Dane County TAG. Students from several schools across Dane County submitted entries in the categories of short stories, poetry, editorials and cartooning. The top ten entries in each grade are published in an anthology. During the May 13 event, each student received a copy of the anthology and participated in a writer’s workshop in their category.
Students were accompanied by 7th grade Language Arts teacher Jen Parker. Noah Phillips, a writer, was the keynote speaker at the ceremony.
