Wisconsin Singers return to DeForest Area Performing Arts Center

The talented Wisconsin Singers return to the Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 11 at 7:30 pm.

Their 2016 show, entitled So Classic!, is arranged by Robert Dietz (arranger for NBC’s The Sing Off!) and choreographed by Broadway professionals Chad Luke Schiro and Kelly Jacobs. With more than sixty songs from timeless legends like Tony Bennett and Michael Jackson to such current pop icons as Justin Timberlake and One Direction, you’ll enjoy every minute of the Wisconsin Singers’ 48th season show.

DAHS alumni, Erika Nelson, is performing with the group, and the DeForest Area High School Show Choir will open the show.

Relive favorite television shows with themes from The Brady Bunch, Scooby-Doo, and The Big Bang Theory. Children of all ages will laugh aloud at Snoopy singing “Suppertime” and enjoy Pinocchio rejoicing “I Got No Strings!” The celebrated Singers band will rock the house with a tribute to ABBA and an impressive medley of jazz classics.  Badger fans won’t want to miss the Singers’ rendition of the Fifth Quarter where audiences sing “Varsity”, dance to “Tequila” and “Jump Around” to “Teach Me How to Bucky.

Tickets can be purchased at Windsor Breads, Hometown Pharmacy, or by contacting Vocal Music Teacher Maggie Condon at mcondon@deforestschools.org. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors. A portion of profits from the show go to the high school show choir program.
