Plenty of interactive activities at STEM Open House

Over 130 people attended the school district’s STEM Open House on Tuesday, March 15 at DeForest Area Middle School.  Students and staff, many who are working with the new Project Lead the Way curriculum at the middle school and high school, were on hand to provide hands-on activities for children and their parents.  In addition to demonstrating the interactive science, technology and math activities, families also had a chance to learn about two camps coming up this summer in the district:  a Summer STEM Camp for 7th grade girls and Camp Invention for students in 1st through 6th grade. Below are photos from the Open House event.
