Last chance to get free help completing the FAFSA

The DeForest Area School District is hosting the last available FAFSA assistance session (i.e. College Goal Wisconsin) on January 28th for graduating seniors and their families.  The event will take place at DeForest Area Middle School (404 Yorktown Road, DeForest) at 10:00 am.  Guests may use the main entrance on Yorktown Road or use the east entrance on South Cleveland Ave. Please note the new location, which was changed on January 19 due to facility scheduling conflicts.   Signs will be posted at both locations.

FAFSA is the form that colleges require students to complete to be considered for financial aid (scholarship, grants, work study, and loans).  Students will complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov.
College Goal Wisconsin is an event that families can receive free assistance in completing the FAFSA.  On January 28th there will be financial aid officers from the various colleges across the state to answer questions while the family is completing the FAFSA online.
