Middle school students help out at Ronald McDonald House

24

On January 12th, a group of  7th and 8th grade students prepared dinner for guests at the Ronald McDonald House.  The activity was organized by DeForest Area Middle School Consumer Literacy teacher Jessica Ceplina.

Ceplina and her students volunteered as a way to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison. According to their website, “When families arrive back at the House after a long day, there is always a meal waiting for them. Many local organizations, restaurants, individuals, and House volunteers prepare meals for our families on a regular basis.”
