According to their website (www.historybee.com), the National History Bee’s Regional Finals are held between February and April in forty of America’s biggest cities. Each participant at the Regional Finals participates in three rounds of a fast-paced and interactive buzzer format to determine Regional Champions and National Qualifiers! Each student qualified for the Regional Finals by scoring in the top of their 8th grade team in a geography challenge held at DeForest Area Middle School. From there, they took an online test. Their scores were high enough to advance them to the regional finals.
