Older adults treated to special performance of The Little Mermaid

On Wednesday, April 26, older adults in the DeForest-Windsor area community were treated to a special performance of the high school’s musical production, The Little Mermaid.  Each year the students perform their final dress rehearsal a day before the public performances begin, and invite older adults throughout the community free of charge.

In addition, students in the GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) organization hosted a reception beforehand in the Performing Arts Center lobby.  Students provided cookies and punch and enjoyed conversations with their guests.  Several older adults turned out for this year’s event.

Public performances of  The Little Mermaid begin tonight:  Thursday, April 27, Friday, April 28; and Saturday, April 29 at 7 pm and Sunday, April 30 at 2 pm. All performances are held in the high school Performance Arts Center. Admission is $8.
