Students in the DeForest Area High School National Honor Society hosted a blood drive on Tuesday, February 20. According to NHS advisor Colleen Kollasch, the drive collected 69 units of blood, which in turn saves 207 lives. “It was a fantastic turnout, considering we started at 10 instead of 8 am,” said Kollasch. The change in starting time was due to a delayed start of school due to weather conditions.
