Four-year-old kindergarten students from Gingerbread House and A Growing Place visited Eagle Point Elementary School on May 15, 2018. Students had the chance to visit a five-year-old kindergarten classroom and learn more about what it will be like to be a full-time kindergarten student at one of our district’s elementary schools.
Then, on May 17, 4K students from A Growing Place that meets at the Holum Education Center came to visit Cailyn Kitson’s Kkndergarten class to preview a day in the life of an Eagle Point kindergartner. Mrs. Kitson’s kindergartner’s read to the 4K students, they talked what was similar and different about the classrooms, and they took a tour of the school.
