Younger students celebrate “graduation”

4K celebrates “graduation”

During the last week of school, the DASD 4K program celebrated “graduation” for their students who will moving on to the elementary schools in the fall.

Wearing a purple or gold cap and gown, each student walked was given a rose and certificate of completion.  Many families members were in attendance during the ceremony that was held at a park near Yahara Elementary School.


Eagle Point sends off 4th graders with “clap out”

On June 7, all the Eagle Point Elementary School students and staff gathered in the hallways of the school to send off their 4th graders with a “Clap Out.” Students and staff also created posters to show their appreciation for their fellow classmates and students.

Fourth grade students at each of the DASD elementary schools will move on this fall to the 5th grade intermediate level at the middle school.


Middle school staff say good-bye to 8th grade students

During the last week of school, DAMS staff, with the help of PTO volunteers, also hosted a celebration for their 8th grade students who will be leaving their building and moving on to high school.

As part of the celebration, the DAMS principals recognized students who exemplified being Safe, Respectful, Responsible Norksies. The awards were based on nominations by staff, and students who were recognized received a certificate and free movie passes.
