Students at Windsor Elementary School joined Dane County Sheriff Deputies to help with Justice for a Cure. The non-profit was started by former Deputy Joan Kamholz, who has taken her fight to find a cure for cancer to fellow sheriff’s officials around the country. Justice for a Cure is a way for the law enforcement family to get more involved with the community by, educating, bringing awareness, supporting survivors and those going through their journey, honoring those taken, and raising funds to support local cancer programs, and support cancer research to find the cures for cancer.
WES students supported the efforts by decorating large ribbons for display in various locations throughout Dane County.
WES Student Council members presented cancer ribbons that were made by students for Justice for a Cure.
