Violet Noise A Cappella attends Acapocalypse

Violet Noise A Cappella, the twelve-member ensemble from DAHS, was thrilled to return for their second year at Acapocalypse, a prestigious two-day a cappella festival hosted at Port Washington High School. Taking place on April 5 and 6, the event showcased the finest talents in the region.

As one of the two advanced choral ensembles at DAHS, Violet Noise A Cappella boasts a rigorous audition process held every May. Since the end of January, the group has been working hard on their Acapocalypse set, perfecting notes, achieving ensemble blend, and refining choreography.

In addition to participating in Acapocalypse, Violet Noise A Cappella is a familiar presence in the community. They can be found lending their harmonious voices to various events such as sporting gatherings, vocal jazz festivals, visits to assisted living centers, and spreading cheer through seasonal caroling during the winter months.

With Acapocalypse behind them, Violet Noise A Cappella now sets their sights on mastering their final two pieces for the school year. Join them for their spring concert on Thursday, May 9 at 7:00 pmin the PAC. It is sure to be an unforgettable evening!
